i love this place the cakes and coffee are amazing,but the only downfall is the cues and sometimes you cant get a seat, im not surprised!

I like this place, and when in Chesterfield I have breakfast there, the food is ok, drinks are ok too
So whats my issue with the Peacock coffee lounge.
Where can they improve, well it has to be personal hygene, one of the staff is always sneezing into her hands, she then has a quick wipe of her nose down the full lenght of her arm, and then procedes to make drinks and food with out washing her hands
Disgusting............ come on staff wash your hands if you sneeze
Ohh and use a hanky not your sleeve.
Other than that great place with friendly staff. -

lovely relaxing atmoshere with friendly service and a variety of excellent food including jacket potatoes with a nice salad and some nice paninis and my favourite the baguettes and an excellent choice of delicious coffees including mocca and cappuchino. In winter there is lovely tasting homemade soup to warm you up on the cold days i recommend it to all who are in need of a snack and are in the area at the time. It is an old pub very well updated.
